First Destination Survey

VCU uses GradLeaders The Outcomes Survey to collect employment and graduate school admissions data from new college graduates (of all degree levels). The survey includes questions related to graduates’ first destination occupation (e.g., employment, graduate school, military, etc.), the relationship between experiential learning and employment, whether graduates’ occupation is related to their major, and custom questions. Graduates can update their information for up to 12 months after graduation and several snapshot reports are available (at graduation, 3 months post-graduation, 6 months post-graduation, and 12 months post-graduation). A graduating class is defined as students graduating between July 1 and June 30.
